Fossil Lake Safari
Thirty-five minutes northwest of Kemmerer, this quarry works the same Green River lakebeds as its neighbors but keeps a gallery and gift shop on site. Fish dominate the finds, with invertebrates and plants common. You keep what you split, the only exception being extremely rare specimens - and heed their explicit warning that Google and Apple maps will not get you there, so use the directions on their site.
